The Whiting Lane PTO is an active part
of the Whiting Lane community throughout the school year. From planning
fundraisers, the wrapping paper sale and election day bake sale; to
planning school wide activities, like the
School Picnic, Family Read-In
& Movie Nights and the School
Fair; and to grade-specific activities like Kindergarten
Registration; the PTO is an important part of the educational experience
of Whiting Lane School.
The PTO raises money through PTO membership dues (which we try to
collect from every adult) and from various fundraising events during
the school year. The funds that are raised enable the PTO to give
funds toward individual classroom trips, reimburse some of the out-of-pocket
teacher expenses toward classroom supplies and fund various other
school events. We donate playground balls and provide games for indoor
recess days. We donated the Rock Climbing Wall in the school gym using
past dues and fundraisers money.

Art Night, Turkey
Bingo, and The
Back to School Picnic, along with the Wrapping
Paper Fundraiser. More information about each event
